Joel's Latest Commercial

As you know Joel writes, produces, and sometimes acts in commercials. He normally has a whole crew help him with this but when a chocolate fondue fountain company called him and asked him to do a commercial for cheap he said he could but couldn't afford to pay the crew so he had to do it all himself. So he's been working on this commercial pretty hard for a week or so. Let me know what you think.

Ummmmmmm . . . is this a joke . . . or what? I'm assuming it is. It's a strange joke, though. But funny . . . . . . sorta.

is he in your room?

Yeah. Good eye, Jared. He's helping me move...well, he was supposed to be helping me move but when he saw my fondue fountain we got distracted.

HAHAHA Jared - that was going to be my comment! Are you moving Jamie? I figured this commercial was impromptu. Joel's newish haircut is kind of unbearable - the whole "business in the front, party in the back" look makes me wiggly.

Yeah, tell Joel that the hair makes him either 75% more or 75% less attractive, depending on whether you enjoyed the '80s. If I saw him on the street I wouldn't recognize him because I would be too busy looking at his mane.

I despised the 80s.

There is a Donald Duck cartoon, where he visits a DUDE Ranch and sees a horse - the horse wants the lady to choose to ride him and tries to gussy himself up and look impressive. Remember this Jared? It took me a full 5 minutes of sitting here to remember where the horse was from. Anyway, Joel's hair reminds me of that horse's mane (thanks for comparison to a mane Maren - it really sparked this memory for me.)

sorry to hijack, jamie, but the part of that donald duck video after the bull says, 'hoink,' and the horse makes a funny face and says nghahahah? does that not look like a keri face?

HAH! Yeah that sure is. Only she can pull off such facial distortion.
