Back Home

We're home from the hospital now. After doing all the x-rays and ultrasounds and tests and making my baby miserable they essentially found nothing wrong. His heart is healthy, his lungs are healthy, he doesn't have any of the main strains of sickness they check for, and his blood looks fine. The only thing is that he breathes fast and sometimes uses more energy to breathe, which could be a normal newborn thing for him. So they sent him home with oxygen and he'll be on it until the pediatrician says we don't need to be anymore. I'm pretty confused because while I want Oskar to be healthy they didn't find too much to indicate that he wasn't healthy. But we're being cautious. I hope I don't have to take him back into the ER anytime soon and I hope we can get off oxygen ASAP and that he'll grow and be big enough that we don't have to worry as much.
